Text

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the court may place on probation for a period not to exceed one year any person convicted of a violation of the Controlled Substances Act where the maximum length of the term of imprisonment is one year or less if: A. the judge does not impose a prison sentence; or B. the judge suspends all of any prison sentence which he imposes.
