Text

Unlawful payment of wages in script consists of any person selling, giving or delivering, or in any manner issuing, directly or indirectly, to any person employed by him, and in payment for wages due, any script, draft, order or other evidence of indebtedness payable or redeemable otherwise than in lawful money of the United States. Whoever commits unlawful payment of wages in script is guilty of a misdemeanor.
