Text

The commission for the blind shall: A. apply for and receive money from any state or federal agency to be used for purposes relating to blindness and receive on behalf of the state any gifts, donations or bequests from any source, to be used in carrying out the commission's duties; B. maintain a complete register of blind persons domiciled in New Mexico, specifying the nature and cause of blindness, capacity and need for educational or industrial training and other pertinent information; C. maintain bureaus of information and industrial assistance to help blind persons find employment, train them in work which may be pursued in their own homes and assist them in merchandising and marketing their goods; D. establish, equip and maintain a center with qualified instructors for vocational, ind
