Text

The personnel board shall establish rules and procedures consistent with the state policy of employment of persons with a disability. The rules and procedures shall be adopted after consultation with appropriate vocational rehabilitation agencies, state institutions, interested private associations and organizations and interested individuals. Any rules or procedures adopted by the personnel board shall provide that: A. certification in an appropriate form shall be required from an appropriate agency to the effect that:

(1)the person with a disability has the ability to perform the duties of the position sought;
(2)the person with a disability is physically qualified to do the work without hazard to that person or to others; and (3) the person with a disability is socially competent in a
