Text

The adjutant general, with the concurrence of the governor as commander in chief, shall promulgate such regulations as are necessary to provide for the accountability of state and federal property which shall provide procedures and standards for ascertaining individual pecuniary liability for restitution and for hardship remission of indebtedness where appropriate. Proceeds collected therefrom shall be paid over to the adjutant general for distribution as may be required by appropriate state or federal law or regulation. When loss or damage occurs and a determination of no pecuniary liability is made, the authority making the determination will direct a settlement of accounts without penalty or assessment.
