Text

There is created the "New Mexico museum of space history commission" consisting of eleven members appointed by the governor. Membership shall be composed of geographically diverse residents of the state that are proficient in the scientific study of space, museums or other relevant subject areas. Three members shall be appointed to the commission for a term ending December 31, 1974, four members shall be appointed to the commission for a term ending December 31, 1975 and four members shall be appointed to the commission for a term ending December 31, 1976. Thereafter, members of the commission shall be appointed for terms of three years or less in such manner that the staggered expiration date is maintained.
