Text

A. The secretary shall administer the state-administered segment of El Rio Chama Scenic and Pastoral River and shall develop, by rule and regulation and after public hearings, a management plan and guidelines to realize the scenic and pastoral objectives of El Rio Chama Scenic and Pastoral Act [16-4-1 to 16-4-8 NMSA 1978]. The plan shall be prepared in cooperation with the appropriate federal agencies and shall include among other things:

(1)consideration for cooperative management arrangements between state and federal authorities; and (2) measures to control recreational use of the designated river to protect the river's natural values.
