Text
A. A federal qualified elector may register to vote using any of the following methods; provided that the document is received by the county clerk by the deadline for registering to vote as provided in Section 1-4-8 NMSA 1978:
(1)using the procedures provided in Chapter 1, Article 4 NMSA 1978; or (2) using a federal postcard application or the application's approved electronic equivalent. B. A voter's certificate of registration completed pursuant to the Uniform Military and Overseas Voters Act shall remain valid until canceled in accordance with the procedures specified in Chapter 1, Article 4 NMSA 1978. C. In registering to vote, a federal qualified elector shall use and must be assigned to the voting precinct of the address of:
