Text

The commissioner shall adopt rules and regulations, pursuant to the "Administrative Procedure Act," P.L.1968, c. 410 (C. 52:14B-1 et seq.), providing for the issuing of permits and the charging of appropriate fees in cases where, upon request by a municipality and upon the submission of such information as he may require, he determines it to be in the public interest to allow the creation or establishment of a nonconforming use which would be prohibited under the standards promulgated pursuant to section 5 of this amendatory and supplementary act. L.1983, c. 260, s. 7, eff. July 7, 1983.
