6.
a.Any registration number issued by the director shall remain the property of the State and shall be immediately returned to the director upon its suspension, non-renewal or revocation pursuant to this act.
b.The issuance of a registration to an applicant who is a nonresident of this State shall be deemed to be the applicant's irrevocable consent that service of process in any action or proceeding may be made upon the applicant by service upon the director. L.2003,c.76,s.6.
