17.The director may institute proceedings against any manufacturer, or, in the case of an authorized emergency vehicle, any manufacturer, co-manufacturer, or post-manufacturing modifier, who fails to comply with any of the provisions of this act. L.1988, c.123, s.17; amended 2009, c.324, s.15.
