Text

(a)If upon any inspection of any hotel or multiple dwelling the commissioner shall discover any violation of the provisions of this act or any rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, which constitutes an imminent hazard to the health, safety or welfare of the occupants or intended occupants thereof, or of the public generally, the commissioner may issue and cause to be served on the owner thereof a written order directing:
(1)that any such hotel or multiple dwelling be vacated forthwith or, (2) that the violation be corrected within the period specified in the order. Such written order shall state the nature of any such violation and the date and hour by which:
(1)any such hotel or multiple dwelling must be vacated or (2) any such violation must be abated.
