Text

Any municipality is hereby authorized and empowered to convey and transfer to the State of New Jersey for use as forest park reservations, without receiving compensation therefor, all its right, title and interest in any woodland, brushland, wasteland, swamp or marsh land within the corporate limits of such municipality, where such lands have been acquired by such municipality by reason of the creation of lien thereon under the provisions of chapter five of Title 54 of the Revised Statutes. Such lands may be so conveyed only with the consent of the Board of Conservation and Development. L.1940, c. 73, s. 1.
