Text

A temporary emergency tax is hereby imposed, and shall be levied, collected and paid annually, at the rates specified in this act;

(a)Upon every resident of this State, who is not a resident of another critical area state under and pursuant to its laws, upon and with respect to the entire net income as defined in this act and subject to taxation under this act, for the taxable year, derived from sources within a critical area state other than New Jersey; and (b) Upon and with respect to the entire net income as defined in this act and subject to taxation under this act, for the taxable year, derived from sources within this State by natural persons who are not residents of this State and who are residents of another critical area state under and pursuant to the law of such state.
