21.At the request of the Commissioner of Insurance, the Division of State Police in the Department of Law and Public Safety shall conduct a criminal history record background check, which includes a name and fingerprint identification check, of each individual applicant and proposed sublicensee for a public adjuster's license, to ascertain whether the person has a criminal history record, pursuant to subsection b. of section 6 of P.L.1993, c.66 (C.17:22B-6). L.1993,c.66,s.21.
