The State Bureau of Identification created by an act entitled "An act to create a State Bureau of Identification within the Department of State Police and requiring peace officers, persons in charge of certain State institutions and others to make reports respecting criminals to such bureau, and to provide a penalty for violation of the provisions thereof," approved April third, one thousand nine hundred and thirty (L.1930, c. 65, p. 279), is continued. The State Bureau of Identification shall be within the Department of State Police and under the supervision and control of the Superintendent of State Police.
