a.The Bureau of Recreation established pursuant to P.L.1950, c. 338, as amended and supplemented (C. 13:1B-15.1), together with all its functions, powers and duties, is continued, transferred and constituted in the Department of Community Affairs, subject to the reorganization powers of the Commissioner of Community Affairs.
b.The Board of Recreation Examiners, established pursuant to P.L.1966, c. 291 (C. 13:1C-1 et seq.) together with all of its functions, powers and duties, is continued and transferred to the Department of Community Affairs. This act shall not affect the terms of office of the present members of the board. The members of the board shall continue to be appointed as provided by existing law. L.1971, c. 411, s. 1.
