§ 52:27D-16 — Office of community services; director; appointment; salary; duties
New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
The Office of Community Services shall be under the immediate supervision of a director, who shall be a person qualified by training and experience to direct the work of such office. The director shall be appointed by the commissioner and shall serve at the pleasure of the commissioner and until the director's successor is appointed and has qualified. He shall receive such salary as shall be provided by law. The director shall administer the work of the office under the direction and supervision of the commissioner, and shall perform such other functions of the department as the commissioner may prescribe.
