§ 52:27D-136 — Extension of reciprocity
New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
a.The commissioner, after consultation with the code advisory board, is empowered to extend to and accept from any state, group of states, or the United States of America, reciprocal recognition, certification or approval as enumerated in subsection b. of this section, provided such action is otherwise consistent with the basic purposes of this act and the code.
b.The commissioner, after consultation with the code advisory board, is authorized to accept the findings of any other state, the Federal Government, or nationally recognized organizations, in matters involving or related to the certification of premanufactured systems, assemblies, subsystems, subassemblies and related materials; and the findings of any state or states, the United States, or nationally recognized organizations in
