§ 52:27D-132 — 2 Findings, declarations.
New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
1.The Legislature finds and declares that: a. The importance of the structural integrity of residential buildings in New Jersey has become a growing concern for many, especially in the wake of the tragic collapse of a high-rise, multifamily housing structure in Florida.
b.In light of these growing concerns, it is appropriate for the Legislature to put in place appropriate procedures for inspecting, evaluating, and maintaining the structural integrity of certain residential housing structures within this State. L.2023, c.214, s.1.
