Text
The words "public weighmaster" as used in this title, shall be deemed to mean and include all firms, corporations, copartners or individuals who shall, for hire, weigh or measure any commodity, produce or article and issue therefor a weight certificate, which shall be accepted as the accurate weight, upon which the purchase or sale of such commodity is based. Any firm, corporation or individual not engaged in the business of weighing for hire, who requires the services of a certified weigher in his business may on application to the state superintendent have one or more of his employees or other suitable persons designated by the state superintendent to act as such weighmaster.
