Text
Any person who shall sell or dispose of butter or cheese in a firkin, tub or vessel manufactured for such purpose in this State which is not branded as required by section 51:1-13 of this Title and any person who shall alter or purposely deface such brand shall forfeit and pay the sum of $100.00 to such person as shall sue for the same in an action at law in any court of competent jurisdiction. Amended by L.1969, c. 251, s. 2, eff. Jan. 7, 1970.
