§ 5:12-171 — Annual budget; approval; line item vetoes; transmittal

New Jersey·Title 5 AMUSEMENTS, PUBLIC EXHIBITIONS AND MEETINGS
The annual budget of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority for administrative and operating costs shall be submitted to the State Treasurer for his approval 90 days after the effective date of this act and thereafter, on or before the last day of October in each year. The State Treasurer shall have 30 days to review and approve the requested budget. He may object in whole or in part to any item or items contained in the budget while approving the other portions of the budget. In such a case he shall append to the budget at the time of signing it, a statement of each item or part thereof to which he objects, and each item or part so objected to shall not take effect. A copy of the budget and any statement shall be transmitted by him to the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.
