§ 5:12-112 — 1 Injunction prohibiting unlawful gambling.

14.In addition to any other authority provided under law, whenever it shall appear to the Division of Gaming Enforcement that a violation of section 112 of P.L.1977, c.110 (C.5:12-112) or unlawful gambling in violation of Article IV, Section VII, paragraph 2 of the New Jersey Constitution, other than a sweepstakes offered or conducted in violation of section 2 of P.L.2025, c.128 (C.52:17B-139.15), has occurred, is occurring, or will occur, the division may, in addition to any other proceeding authorized by law, seek and obtain in a summary proceeding in Superior Court an injunction prohibiting such violation or unlawful gambling. In any such proceeding, the court may assess a civil penalty in accordance with the provisions of section 15 of P.L.2025, c.128 (C.5:12-112.2); order restoration
