Text

Any person who discloses personally identifiable information in violation of this act or otherwise engages in negligent, willful or reckless conduct in violation of this act shall be subject to a fine of not less than $500.00 for each disclosure, or for each negligent, willful or reckless act or omission, as appropriate. The fine shall be collected in a summary manner, pursuant to "the penalty enforcement law" (N.J.S. 2A:58-1 et seq.). L. 1988, c. 121, s. 9.
