12.
a.A violation of any of the provisions of this act shall be cause for revocation or suspension of any license issued hereunder, notwithstanding that the same violation may constitute a crime or other offense under the laws of this State or any other state or jurisdiction. An indictment, prosecution and conviction arising out of any of the provisions of this act shall not be construed to preclude, if the evidence so warrants, an indictment, prosecution and conviction for any other crime or offense in this State or any other state or jurisdiction.
b.In addition to any other penalties prescribed by this act or any other law, a person who violates any of the provisions of this act shall be liable to a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000 for a first offense and not to exceed $2,500 for a s
