3.No person shall engage in the business of, or perform, or offer to perform, the functions, activities or services of a bounty hunter, or advertise or hold a business out to be that of a bounty hunter, unless the person is licensed by the superintendent as set forth in this act. Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a crime of the fourth degree. L.2005,c.376,s.3.
