Text

The trial shall be with a jury upon the demand of any party to the action. The court shall, if judgment be rendered for the plaintiff, cause any such defendant, who refuses or neglects to pay forthwith the amount of the judgment rendered against him and all costs and charges incident thereto, to be committed to the county jail for a period not exceeding thirty days. Amended by L.1953, c. 43, p. 817, s. 75.
