§ 45:14D-3 — Exclusions
New Jersey·Title 45 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS
The provisions of this act shall not be construed to include motor vehicles owned or operated by: a. The United States, the State, or any local government, subdivision, agency or instrumentality thereof; b. Persons transporting property in intrastate commerce without compensation or where such person is the owner of the property and the transportation is not performed as a subterfuge to avoid regulation hereunder.
