4.Any person, firm, association or corporation desiring to conduct a private detective business or the business of a private detective or investigator shall, for each bureau or agency, subagency, office and branch office to be owned, conducted, managed or maintained by such person, firm, association or corporation for the conduct of such business, submit to the Superintendent of State Police the applicant's name, address, fingerprints and written consent for a criminal history record background check to be performed. The superintendent shall cause such fingerprints to be compared to fingerprints filed with the State Bureau of Identification in the Division of State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation consistent with applicable State and federal laws, rules and regulations.
