Text
1.Notwithstanding any provisions of law to the contrary, the governing body of a municipality shall have the authority to establish staffing levels for the municipality's welfare department for the purpose of administering public assistance pursuant to the "Work First New Jersey General Public Assistance Act," P.L.1947, c.156 (C.44:8-107 et seq.). L.1993,c.305,s.1; amended 1997, c.37, s.16.
