§ 44:4-24 — Supervision of relief and settlement of poor; complaints for prevention of cruelty
New Jersey·Title 44 POOR
The county welfare board, as the county bureau of relief shall have charge and supervision of the relief and settlement of the poor in its jurisdiction, subject to the provisions of this chapter, and may prefer complaints for the prevention of cruelty to children under the provisions of Title 9 of the Revised Statutes. Amended by L.1954, c. 31, p. 101, s. 1, eff. May 28, 1954.
