Text
The State Treasurer, as treasurer and custodian of the unemployment compensation and State disability benefits funds, is hereby authorized and directed to cancel of record and to refuse to honor checks issued against any of the accounts established within the unemployment compensation and State disability benefits funds which have not been presented for payment within 6 years from the date of issuance. Upon such cancellation, moneys held on deposit for the payment of the checks shall be credited to the accounts against which said checks were drawn. L.1966, c. 24, s. 1, eff. April 21, 1966.
