5.Except as provided in section 8 of this act, each individual who meets the requirements of section 4 of this act, but has not completed the remedial education and vocational training at the end of the period during which he is entitled to receive unemployment benefits pursuant to the "unemployment compensation law" (R.S.43:21-1 et seq.), P.L.1970, c.324 (C.43:21-24.11 et seq.) and any federally-financed supplemental benefits program shall be entitled to receive a weekly benefit equal to his previous weekly unemployment compensation benefit for each additional week certified by the division as needed to complete the remedial education or vocational training up to a total of 26 additional weeks. 5.
