Text

If any municipal employee or officer shall resign, be dismissed or discharged from his or her employment, the moneys he or she shall have paid into the pension fund due to the assessments shall be returned to him or her, without interest; but such person shall not thereafter be eligible for a pension under this article unless upon his or her re-employment by the village he or she shall repay to the fund the amount of any rebate made to him or her. No other refund of assessments collected from the salaries of such employees or officers shall be made. Amended by L.1945, c. 213, p. 713, s. 2.
