§ 43:21-12 — Employment service

New Jersey·Title 43 PENSIONS AND RETIREMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION
(a)State employment service. The employment bureau of the New Jersey Department of Labor and its present personnel, including those employed by the New Jersey national re-employment service, is hereby transferred to the commission as a division thereof, which shall establish and maintain free public employment offices in such number and in such places as may be necessary for the proper administration of this chapter and for the purpose of performing such duties as are within the purview of the Act of Congress entitled "An act to provide for the establishment of a national employment system and for co-operation with the States in the promotion of such system, and for other purposes," approved June sixth, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three (48 Stat. 113; U.S.C. Title 29, sec. 49(c)
