Application for certificate of authority to transact business. Before transacting business in this State, a foreign limited partnership shall file in the office of the Secretary of State an application executed by a general partner setting forth: a. The name of the foreign limited partnership and, if different, the name under which it proposes to transact business in this State; b. The name and business address of each general partner; c. The amount of cash and a description and statement of the agreed value of the other property or services contributed by all partners and which all partners have agreed to contribute in the future; d.
