Text
Every person elected or appointed register of deeds and mortgages, before entering upon the duties of his office, shall take the following oath: "I, , register of deeds and mortgages of the county of do solemnly (insert name of county) swear (or affirm) to support the Constitution of this State and the United States and perform the duties of my office as register of deeds and mortgages faithfully, impartially and justly to the best of my ability." L.1971, c. 200, s. 1, eff. July 1, 1971.
