Any county or municipality operating under the provisions of subtitle 3 of Title 11 (Civil Service) of the Revised Statutes may request the Civil Service Commission to recommend standards of salaries to be paid to persons filling offices and positions in the classified service, and the county, by resolution, or the municipality, by ordinance, as the case may be, may adopt such recommendations. L.1971, c. 200, s. 1, eff. July 1, 1971.
