§ 40A:9-176 — Municipality not to issue badge to elected official which may be mistaken for law enforcement badge.
New Jersey·Title 40A MUNICIPALITIES AND COUNTIES
4.Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, a municipality shall not issue a law enforcement badge or a badge that may be mistaken as a law enforcement badge to any municipal elected official. L.2019, c.221, s.4.
