Text
Any person who has held on a temporary basis the position of field representative of narcotic education in the office of the sheriff of a county of the first class, and who has been employed in the sheriff's office for no less than 14 years and who has at least 14 years of service with municipal government shall be eligible for appointment as field representative of narcotic education on a permanent basis without having to take a civil service open competitive examination. L.1972, c. 90, s. 1, eff. July 10, 1972.
