Text
Any person who is over 35 years of age on the effective date of this act, and who is subsequently appointed as a sheriff's officer pursuant to this act, shall remain a member of the retirement system of which he is a member on that date. L.1982, c. 133, s. 7, eff. Sept. 14, 1982.
