40A:14-76. For an election held at a time other than at the time of the general election, upon petition of 25 or more voters, filed with the clerk of the board at least 20 days prior to the date of any election, after the first election, the board of fire commissioners, by resolution, may divide the fire district into 2 or more polling places. The polls for any election held at a time other than at the time of the general election shall be opened between the hours of 2:00 and 9:00 P.M., but the board may designate a later closing hour on the same day. The board shall furnish the necessary books for the entries of the names and addresses of the voters in such election. amended 2017, c.206, s.15.
