44.The Commissioner of Community Affairs shall be the chief advocate of the State in working with the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development to promote the redevelopment and housing purposes of this act. The Commissioner of Community Affairs is authorized to hold an annual Redevelopment and Housing Congress to review current developments in redevelopment and housing occurring throughout the State.
