Text
Every municipal tax assessor and deputy assessor shall hold his office for a term of 4 years from the first day of July next following his appointment. Vacancies other than due to expiration of term shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term. L.1971, c. 200, s. 1, eff. July 1, 1971. Amended by L.1978, c. 128, s. 2; L.1981, c. 393, s. 2, eff. Jan. 6, 1982.
