Text
Notwithstanding the provisions of N.J.S. 40A:9-1 or any other law to the contrary, the governing body of any municipality may, by ordinance, appoint to the office of municipal treasurer a nonresident of said municipality. L.1977, c. 172, s. 1, eff. Aug. 10, 1977.
