Text
Except as otherwise provided by law, in any municipality having permanent members and officers of a police department and force, the employment of said members and officers shall be indeterminate and continuous during good behavior and efficiency. L.1971, c. 197, s. 1, eff. July 1, 1971. Amended by L.1971, c. 443, s. 5, eff. Feb. 15, 1972.
