The board of chosen freeholders is hereby authorized to provide by ordinance at one time or from time to time for the issuance of general obligation bonds of the county for the purpose of paying all or part of the cost of any solid waste disposal facilities constructed, acquired, improved, extended, enlarged or reconstructed pursuant to this act. The bonds of each issue shall be issued pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bond Law, constituting chapter 2 of Title 40A of the New Jersey Statutes. The proceeds of such bonds shall be used solely for the payment of costs of the solid waste disposal facilities for the purchase, construction, reconstruction, enlargement or improvement of which such bonds shall have been authorized.
