§ 40:62-113 — Negotiations; contract served on each municipality

New Jersey·Title 40 MUNICIPALITIES AND COUNTIES
Immediately after organization the commission shall proceed to negotiate for the purchase of the entire waterworks supplying water in the municipalities making the application for its appointment, and in the other municipalities, if any, supplied with water by said waterworks and may enter into a contract to purchase said waterworks for compensation to be agreed upon or fixed by condemnation proceedings as hereinafter provided. A copy of every contract to purchase said waterworks shall forthwith be served by the commission on each of the municipalities that made and joined in the application for the appointment of the commission and the contract shall become binding only as to such two or more of the municipalities that made the application for the appointment of the commission, and joined
