Text

The governing body of any municipality, in the name and on behalf of the municipality, may acquire, by gift, devise, purchase or condemnation, or as lessee may lease, for municipal or public uses any land or buildings located within the municipality, and may improve the same and construct therein or thereon and maintain, or cause to be constructed and maintained therein or thereon, a city hall or other municipal building. Every such city hall or other building shall provide facilities for use by the municipality and shall include and provide such space and facilities for use by the county in which such municipality is located, or by or on behalf of the Courts, or by the State or the United States or any board, commission, department or other agency of either of them, as the governing body
